Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Government Property Administrator to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

Monitors one or more standard subcontracts for property requirements to ensure that assigned personnel fully understand, comply and meet contractual requirementsIdentifies compliance and flow down requirements from prime contract and deviations from standard procedures/manualDevelops procedures, instructions, forms, and training programsImplements government property processes such as asset control, inventories, training, employee orientation, and disposalCreates property records in DMCS Property Module Online System and maintains property record databases for uniquely identified property, summary records, subcontractor property, excess property and disposed propertyPrepares various property reports upon request, such as government inventory and government property status reportsParticipates in government property related meetings. Organizes and prepares materials for meetings, presentations and training sessionsProvides audit support and participates in property-related auditsConducts investigations and inquiries into government property management issues (i.e. Loss/Damage/Destruction of government property or vehicle accident reviews)Coordinates with other functional departments as necessaryPrepares or assists in the preparation of periodic status reports, such as reports pertaining to locations, property value, and utilization statusPerforms other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

US Citizenship with an Active Top Secret with SCI ability Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (in lieu of degree additional 4+ years of experience can be replaced) 4+ years of directly related property administration work experience Working knowledge of engineering and construction industry contracting practices, applicable government and industry regulations, practices, policies and procedures, and work practicesUnderstanding of governmental contracts and the flow-down of applicable clauses and requirementsDemonstrated knowledge of analytical techniques, administrative and management methods, budgets, and other administrative areasWillingness and ability to travel to perform property audits and conduct site visits when required.Excellent written and oral communication skills


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 45.5 and applicable Agency Supplements (i.e., 4161.2M DoD Manual for the Performance of Contract Property Administration)Basic knowledge of contract types, terms, and legal requirementsActive TS/SCI clearance

Salary Range: 

$61,200.00 - $107,100.00
