Government Property Administrator

SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a Government Property Administrator that is organized and detailed orientated to efficiently manage inbound and outbound shipments. The selected candidate will be responsible will be responsible for loading and unloading packages, verifying shipment contents, and managing documentation associated with SRC’s processes.  What You’ll Do Management of the Government Property and SRC asset program and systemsCreating / maintaining procedures and ensuring complianceConducting periodic internal reviews, self-assessments of compliance, property audits and direct interface with government auditorsManagement and accountability of government property inventories in accordance with associated contractsCreate and maintain contractually required property accountability records and back up audit documentation to support property outcomesAcceptance of government property and generation / entry of tag numbersCoordinates disposition of GFP, arrange disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipmentAnnual / periodic audits of inventories, property report generation, developing metrics and performance standardsCoordination with Program leads on government property movements / transfer / shipping, labeling, documentation, approvals, and updating databasePrepare reports concerning the status, allocation, utilization, progress, excess, and other related issues concerning property.  Reports will include metric reports, physical inventory, and destructionConduct investigation and document loss, damage, and destruction property incidentsLead property verification and generating property summary reportsEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with internal customers and support departmentsLead the coordination, utilization, disposal, and property closeout activitiesAsset input into SRC’s asset property systems and taggingProvide warehouse functions including inventory organization, storage, shipping /receiving functionsPerform other duties as necessaryCustomer Service and Teamwork:Maintain professionalism and a high level of customer service.  Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.Use initiative to seek continuous improvement and assist with implementation of improvement projects and other tasks as needed.Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a friendly and flexible demeanor.What You’ll Bring  Bachelor’s degree with 0+ years’ experience. Some related internship or work experience in government property administration, asset management, warehouse operations, supply chain, logistics, or equivalent is preferred.  Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be consideredProficiency with Microsoft Office suite and the ability to read, write, and speak English and follow standard written work instructionsStrong organizational skillsThe selected candidate must be a proven team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasksKnowledge and understanding of asset management; Federal Acquisition Regulation Property Compliance regulations preferredMust be flexible and possess the ability to accommodate shifting priorities and changesDetail-oriented, strong organization skills, efficient/courteous communications with peers and management alikeMust be a team player who is comfortable operating in a high energy, deadline-driven environmentAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writingAbility to operate a fork truck and perform warehouse dutiesAbility to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodationsAbility to travel when requiredExperience utilizing material handling equipment, including a fork truck, lift truck, and pallet jack preferredValid, clean driver’s license with at least 1 year driving experience and no DWIs or suspensionsMust have strong attention to detail, solid decision-making skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervisionMust be able to obtain a security clearanceAbility to travel when required What Sets Us Apart?
