If you’re a Proposal Pricing Analyst, we have an exciting opportunity for you. This position reports to a leader within the finance organization. Responsibilities include performing government proposal pricing, financial analysis and business support in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and business needs. This position requires minimum supervision.
What You Will Be Doing
Develop and prepare FAR Part 15 compliant proposals, ensuring full compliance with the Truthful Cost or Pricing Data act (formerly known as TINA).Support material and labor cost analysis for proposals and audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and insights for proposal development.Interface with DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) and DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency) during audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.Assist in preparing responses to customer audit requests, ensuring clear and effective communication.Develop and maintain financial models used for decision support, such as those used in the product life cycle process, capital expenditure justifications, and make vs. buy decisionsIdentify continuous improvement opportunities.Read and understand Basis of Estimates (BOE) and Bills of Material (BOM) and have a basic understanding of manufacturing processes.Compile and analyze multiple sources of data to identify relevant information and determine the best course of action.What We Are Looking For
US – Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences in Accounting, Finance or Economics required2-5 years Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferredDemonstrates commitment to quality and has a continuous improvement mindset. Proficient in MS Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel. General knowledge and comfort working with ERP systems.Applies sound logic to problem solving, conveying an understanding of the business, the markets in which we operate, and general economic principlesAbility to pay attention to detailsGood written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
