Government Relations Officer (GRO) (Pinnacle Arabia)

Provides advice to management on local and government services. Protect the interest of the company in accordance with governmental authorities, laws, and regulations.

Independence: Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities with significant choice of methods. Authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities within established guidelines.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None unless designated by Deputy General Manager (DGM).

Responsibilities

Ensures that all duties regarding building and promoting Saudi Government relationships with Pinnacle Arabia are adhered to

Establishes working relationships with appropriate Saudi Arabian ministries to promote residency requirements for US/foreign employees

Assists with screening of local Saudi candidates for Pinnacle Arabia positions

Ensures that all incoming employees are tracked and documented and that physicals are scheduled with the medical team

Provides accurate reports regarding employee onboarding and arrival to the Deputy General Manager (DGM)

Communicates with Governmental entities to issue licenses and Iqama’s and assure delivery in a timely manner

Arranges for different types of visa applications (temporary work visa, resident work visa, visit visa, family visa, etc.)

Tracks and renews all employee Iqama and driver’s licenses before the expiration dates

Oversees the issuance, renewal, and disposition of government-regulated documents, certificates, records, and permits

Acquires Chamber of Commerce (CoC) certifications on Family Visit and Family Resident Visas

Processes Business Visas and obtains official translations

Accounts for and tracks Family Visit Visa and Business Visa expiration dates

Visit government authorities' offices to learn about all related issues

Qualifications

Degree in Human Resources or related field. An additional four years of experience may substitute for education

2 years Minimum in HR function

Written and oral proficiency with the English language

Knowledge of HR systems and databases

Very good knowledge of the KSA Government HR related e-portals

Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrates a strong ability to solve problems and achieve desired outcomes

Takes a results-oriented approach to problem-solving, identifying and addressing root causes to achieve success

Proficiency in using HR-related software and tools

Proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Etc…)

Desired Qualifications:

Four (4) years GRO related experience
