The Office of Graduate Studies seeks a motivated and personable part-time Graduate Admissions Representative to help us improve our existing applicant-to-student experience. The part-time Admissions Representative will work in the evenings and on weekends and must be able to work independently. The incumbent is responsible for reaching out to prospective students who have expressed interest in our various graduate programs by responding to email inquiries, receiving, and placing calls to prospects, and providing ongoing, consistent assistance through the entire applicant journey until enrollment. They must possess excellent customer service and customer relation skills.
This position will work Part-Time during the weekend.
Key Responsibilities
Connect with prospective students via phone, email, or other channels to address inquiries about our programs, application process, admission, enrollment requirements, and available financial support.Be the initial contact for SEHD applicants via phone, online forms, or email, embodying the school’s brand and enthusiasm.Monitor and promptly respond to inquiries through Salesforce CRM, maintaining accurate records and updating profiles to document progress through the applicant journey.Guide applicants through the application process, including assistance with required documents and deadlines.Collaborate with admissions team members to ensure a seamless applicant experience and achieve enrollment targets.Follow up with applicants to provide information, address concerns, and support them through the admissions process stages.Answer inbound calls and emails to the SEHD Admission contact points, directing inquiries and ensuring timely responses, including voicemail and email retrieval and routing.Make outbound calls and send personalized emails to potential applicants who submit lead forms, acknowledging requests for information and directing follow-up queries.Utilize Salesforce to document all interactions and actions with prospective students.Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
