Graduate Civil Engineer
As part of the Worley Graduate Community and work under the guidance of experienced professionals within our Engineering department, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of process engineering services, gaining hands-on experience, and contributing to impactful projects in the energy and chemical sectors. Works under supervision and all work is reviewed on completion.
This is a full-time position based in Houston TX and anticipated to start June/July 2025.
What You Will Bring - Qualifications\:
· Knowledge of basic technical theory and engineering principles within discipline.
· Ability to apply engineering principles for basic design analyses within discipline.
· Hands on application using basic computer tools such as word processing and spreadsheets.
· Assists more experienced engineers in preparing, coordinating, and reviewing deliverables for projects.
· Prepares and reviews simple technical reports and documents.
· Performs simple routine calculations.
· Assists in design (site work design, reinforced concrete design, and structural steel design) reviews and checks.
· Assists in review of supplier documentation for compliance with specifications.
· Communicates with engineering lead and coworkers to ensure consistent designs are produced.
*Qualifications - Training and Experience\:
· Recognized bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field from an accredited college or university. One remaining semester is acceptable.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Eligible to pursue Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
· Working knowledge of MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
· Familiarity with building codes and specifications.
· While not required, prior experience through internships, co-op programs, or vacation placements in an engineering environment is highly valued.
