We are seeking a talented individual with a passion for marketing to join our Global Investments Marketing team at Mercer. This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The successful candidate will need to have a genuine interest in financial services, asset management and the wider global economy. What can you expect?
Our team is responsible for driving the commercial growth of Mercer Investments by getting the business in front of large asset allocators (across all industries) and helping us to become more visible and relevant in front of non-pension buyers.This role is multiregional as our team deliver firm-wide programmes, content and assets to key markets (US, UK, Australia, Europe) and growth markets (Asia, UAE). These regions are our clients - they localize and implement our campaignsWe will rely on you to help us deliver our comprehensive marketing programme, including the delivery of all flagship institutional investor events.You will influence and work effectively with a range of stakeholders, representing marketing at the events’ steering groups attended by senior business leaders, and input on the latest customer engagement reporting and campaign progressYou will own the whole invitation process for certain events, develop campaigns across offline and digital/social channels, and implement digital promotions.As our programme is data-driven, you will be expected to analyze data effectively (via excel for example) to improve and report on the programme’s performance. You will work with our CRM and alongside our sales enablement teams.The role will collaborate closely with the Events, Digital and Creative colleagues across the wider Marsh McLennan Marketing teams, our external agencies, as well as interact with our investment and alternatives business. The role will focus on the following two main areas:
Global investor events
Help plan, manage and execute the marketing campaigns associated to our Mercer institutional investor events and external sponsored industry events.Liaise with the vendors of external sponsored events to ensure they have all required materials (bios, headshots, synopsis, deck, goodies, branding, invoicing).Maintain the log of where our Mercer colleagues speak at events for free, and draw actions and recommendations from your log.Manage two external quarterly webinars, from conception to developing the marketing assets and examining the leads report.‘Always-on’ marketing campaigns (with a focus on private markets)
Support and optimize our organization’s digital marketing programme through the delivery of campaigns (email, social, web, digital). Organise and execute our Critical thinking podcast schedule with the team and the speakers.Collaborate with Mercer’s London-based Business Development and Alternatives team to create and enable cross-channel marketing campaigns, including sales enablement materials and content across private markets.What you need to have:
A genuine interest in financial services and asset managementExperience in all-rounded marketing, agency or client side.Commercial acumen - ability to handle data sets using Excel, including summarizing event registrations with pivot tables, analysing registrations and origin, filters, pie charts etc.).Experience of collaborating across teams, businesses and time zones.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build solid working relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders.Creativity, attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage end to end events and other campaigns that help to drive our overall vision.A positive 'can-do' attittude with the passion and drive to develop your career.What makes you stand out:
