Graduate Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities The Graduate Mechanical Engineer will work under the direction of a Lead Mechanical Engineer on projects involving HVAC design (airside, hydronic, steam) for a wide variety of multi-disciplinary (A&E) project types such as: Mission Critical Science and Technology Advanced Manufacturing US Government Aviation Healthcare Perform design analysis such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) models, Fluid system modeling, pipe stress analysis modeling; Perform HVAC ductwork static pressure calculations and pump head calculations; Perform load calculations using software such as HAP or IES; Create/Update specifications; 3D modeling using software such as Revit, Navisworks, Pipe3D; Energy modeling; Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an accredited, four-year university; 2-4 years of engineering experience with multiple clients; EIT certification, or interest in obtaining; Technical writing experience and proficiency; Proficiency in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook; Experience with REVIT 2016 or newer. Experience is considered at least 25% of work hours spent in production with the software; Experience with Carrier HAP or IES VE Energy Modeling software; Strong interpersonal/communication skills needed for client interface. #LI-KS1
