The focus areas include threat assessment, behavioral health, and educational safety, spanning from grade school through higher education. The graduate research assistant is expected to contribute significantly to the research process, showcasing excellent communication skills and a commitment to supporting CARES in achieving its objectives.Key Qualifications: Exceptional Communication Skills Proficiency in marketing and graphic design skills Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, or Canva are preferred

Responsibilities:· Assist the Principal Investigator, Graduate Research Assistants, and other Professional Staff in both research projects and operational needs of CARES.· Maintain all social media and marketing-related products· Assist in designing, advertising, and promoting materials, including social media posts, flyers, table tents, and other promotional items· Experience creating designs and layout of campaigns and advertisements· Maintain professional communication in person, via phone, and through email.· Conceptualize creative designs for projects, reports, and publications.· Collect and enter data while maintaining the confidentiality of information.· Assist in creating research products, including survey and interview questionnaires.· Write reports/publications and conduct literature reviews.· Attention to detail.· Engage in trainings, webinars, and other professional development opportunities.· Present research findings at conferences, webinars, and other relevant platforms.· Assist in finding, drafting, and applying for grant funding.· Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.· Some in-state travel is possible.
