Job Summary:
The Graduate Teaching Assistant participates in the delivery of didactic and clinical curriculum. The position assists faculty with delivery and maintenance of the laboratory. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
You Will Be Responsible For:
Demonstrates, through behavior, AdventHealth’s core values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork.
Assists the Occupational Therapy/Physical Therapy or Master in Healthcare Administration faculty with instruction in a laboratory setting
Under the guidance of the Graduate Department faculty, develops and delivers lectures in the core didactic courses
Mentors first-year graduate students in the Doctor of Physical Therapy, Masters in Occupational Therapy and Masters in Healthcare Administration students
Ambulates between and within campuses
Performs other departmental duties as assigned
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in area they will assist in
Visual and auditory skills for computer use
Ability to communicate effectively with college administration, faculty, staff and students
Organizational Skills
Ability to work in a team environment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Graduate degree in area they will assist in
Currently a second-year student in program
