Function/Duties of Position

The Peer Tutor responsibilities may include the following:

Individual Tutoring: Provide personalized academic support in designated subjectsGroup Study Sessions: Lead group study sessions to encourage collaborative learningResource Development: Create study guides and educational materialsFeedback and Guidance: Offer feedback on assignments and advise on study strategiesFaculty Collaboration: Coordinate with faculty to align tutoring with course objectives

Required Qualifications Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in an OHSU Graduate Program (minimum 4.5 credit hours)Experience with course contentBasic computer skillsMust read, speak and understand the English languageAttention to detail a mustExcellent customer service skillsStandard office, classroom, and conference room conditionsMeeting with students and instructorsHours will vary based on the needs of the students and tutorsTutoring sessions can be both in-person and virtual Additional Details
