Day to DayIdentify business opportunities with producers and dealers.Negotiate contracts with producers and dealers on the purchase of grain.First point of contact for purchasing and delivery of grain.Meet with producers in person to pursue new business opportunities, foster relationships, and collect grain samples.Update producers on market information.Review grain marketing programs.Provide the P&H merchandising team with grain market information from producers and dealers.QualificationsDemonstrated success in grain origination and a deep understanding of the agricultural industry. Strong proficiency in sales techniques and negotiation strategies, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and successfully closing deals.Exceptional customer service, relationship building and networking skills.Proficient using agricultural software or the ability to adapt quickly to new systems.Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Application Suite, with a high proficiency in Excel.Must be available to travel periodically.Work and grow with a family-owned company.
