This position will assist the Grants Coordinator, Division Controller-Behavioral Health, and Director of Community Development on financial management of federal, state, local, and private grant contracts held by West Tennessee Healthcare facilities including, but not limited to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, Pathways of Tennessee, Therapy & Learning Center, and rural hospitals.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Review and remain current on policies of federal, state, and local funders to include, but not limited to, Tennessee Department of Health, Tennessee Office of Criminal Justice, Tennessee Department of Human Services, Tennessee Department of Children’s Services, Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Tennessee Department of Health and Human Services. Review monthly spending on each grant contract. Coordinate and work with grant program managers to monitor grant spending by line items Prepare budget revisions as necessary Enter approved budget revisions in contract listing and invoicing spreadsheets Assist with oversight of infrastructure grant contracts focusing on detailed documentation supporting invoices and monthly expenditures, Process Pathways contracts upon review by Executive Director and Division Controller of Behavioral Health. Enter Pathways contract budgets at beginning of each fiscal year. Serve as back up for monthly invoicing. Assist Grants Coordinator with grant contract processing and serve as back up for process. Assist Grants Coordinator with quarterly financial reports and serve as back up for process. Assist Director of Community Development with monthly vendor requisitions and payments to contract staff Participate in other activities and assignments of the Department. Available for call back as needed.
