Grant Accountant
Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity in the Non-Profit industry for a Grant Accountant. The role will be based in BALTIMORE, Maryland, United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks concerning financial, accounting, and grant support services. Responsibilities: • Oversee and ensure accurate processing of customer credit applications • Maintain and manage customer credit records efficiently • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as required • Provide financial reporting and analysis • Handle operations of post-award grant administration and related accounting duties • Ensure effective cash control measures are in place and maintained • Prepare financial statements as required • Perform daily financial reconciliations • Manage budget processes and capital management • Use a variety of accounting software systems including Abila MIP, Sage Software, and Microsoft Excel • Oversee cash flow modeling and preparation of cash flow reports • Conduct auditing as required • Handle grant accounting, administration, and management, including foundation, federal, and government grants. Requirements • Proficiency in using Abila MIP • Experience with Accounting Software Systems • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services • Knowledge of Banner Ads • Proficiency in using Bloomberg Terminal • Ability to perform Accounting Functions • Experience in Auditing • Knowledge of Budget Processes • Experience with Capital Management • Ability to manage Cash Activity • Proficiency in using Sage Software, Sage Timberline and Sage Pro • Experience in Financial Forecasting • Ability to create Financial Reports • Experience in Grant Accounting • Knowledge of Foundation Grants, Federal Grant, and Government Grants • Experience in Grant Administration and Grant Management • Ability to perform Account Reconciliation and Bank Reconciliations • Experience in Daily Reconciliation and Financial Reconciliation • Proficiency in Cash Flow Modeling and creating Cash Flow Reports • Experience in Cash Flow Management • Ability to create Cash Flow Statements and Cash Flow Forecasts • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
