Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Grant Analyst in Mansfield, Connecticut. As a key member of our team, you will be tasked with interpreting and maintaining knowledge of relevant policies, regulations, and procedures. Your role will involve reviewing proposed agreements, negotiating terms, and assisting in policy discussions. You will also be tasked with maintaining an up-to-date reference file and preparing detailed award summaries. Responsibilities: • Interpret and maintain knowledge of policies, regulations, and procedures from state and federal government, granting agencies, and private foundations and industries • Review and assess proposed agreements for compliance with state and federal regulations including fiscal reporting requirements • Negotiate agreements with corporate, non-profit and federal sponsors and draft technical contact language • Participate in policy and procedure discussions to ensure compliance and efficiency • Maintain an up-to-date reference file to support research activities • Prepare detailed award summaries to administer and maintain an awarded contract in compliance with contracted statutes, regulations, and procedures • Perform related duties as required by the role • Use accounting software systems to maintain accurate records • Utilize CRM and Crystal Reports for efficient processes • Oversee accounting functions and auditing to ensure financial accuracy • Manage budget processes and monitor cash activity.
