Grant Funded--Mobile Clinic Coordinator

Provides support to the BU Trains Opioid Abatement grant initiative at Belmont University. This support includes establishing connections within the community to identify locations and partnerships for offering mobile clinic services. Additionally, the coordinator will lead the development of policies and procedures, safety protocols, and training for volunteers serving on the mobile clinic unit. The coordinator should have demonstrated ability to manage teams and be comfortable working with vulnerable populations, including but not limited to unhoused and transitional living groups, people at risk for, currently living with, or in recovery from substance use disorder, and those with untreated or under treated mental health conditions. The coordinator will also be the primary operator of the transport and setup of the mobile clinics on site for service. Persons with a street outreach background or EMT preferred.

Essential Functions: 

1. Manage teams of volunteers onsite at mobile clinics

2. Operate mobile clinic units, including driving and establishing appropriate protocols

3. Establish relationships with community partners

4. Coordinate mobile clinic scheduling with community partners and volunteers

5. Work with grant coordinator to manage inventory necessary for operation of mobile clinic
