Priority Personnel is hiring Temporary Grant Specialists to work at a department for Texas State University.  Assignments are expected to last 1-2 months for one and till the end of August for the other. 

Pay rate: $18/hour

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri/8am-5pm  (occasional weekend and evenings may be required)

Job Duties:

Provide counseling/advising (e.g. academic, career, financial, personal) to students who meet program eligibility requirements. Determine student academic needs and develop individualized student success plans. Schedule monthly student meetings. Document student contact/progress. Assist with marketing, recruitment screening and selection activities. Advise the SSS Association/Peer Pals Assist with record keeping, program evaluation and ongoing program improvement Assist with trips and events for participants.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work or a related field. Experience with academic support programs focused on student success. Experience assisting with programs, events, trips, and workshops for students. Experience with computer software (Microsoft suite) and database management platforms.
