This position will support budget development for restricted and bundled gifts (non-government grant applications). The Grants Analyst will work collaboratively with various teams across the American Heart Association including the OFP’s Grant Administration team, Mission Advancement, Field Development, Community Impact and Corporate Relations. The role will report to the Director, Funded Programs, Proposals & Reporting. This position is not a fundraising role. The position is 100% remote and can be located anywhere in the United States. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in public health, business, or other related field, or equivalent experience. + Three (3) years of relevant experience in philanthropy, nonprofit, or community impact/relations including deep understanding of budget development and/or proposal development at a level where collaborating with internal and external subject matter experts in these areas will be effective. + Able to shift quickly between substantive issues and work with a broad range of personalities under short time constraints in this exciting and stimulating role. + Creative thought partner in ways of best achieving the Association’s goals while ensuring compliance with the greater Association’s requirements + Ability to work well remotely and in environments driven by results and deadlines. + Excellent communication skills: must have the ability and savvy to successfully engage with high level leaders in the Association's national and regional offices. + Highly organized and attentive to details with excellent interpersonal skills and data tracking skills. + Office Suite (Word, Outlook, advanced Excel, advanced PowerPoint. + Software applications that manage projects, timelines, and communicate processes. + Ability to respond positively to feedback. + Ability to travel with overnight stay (at least twice each year. **Preferred Experience:** + Previous experience as a remote employee. + Three years of experience with preparing proposals, applications and/or budgets for non-government grants or gifts from private donors. + At least three (3) years of direct program implementation experience. **Compensation & Benefits** Expected pay range will be $75,000 to $80,000. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.
