Grants Officer (Philanthropy)

The role of the Grants Team is to identify, seek, and secure external funding from private foundations, corporations, and government agencies to support the work of IU Health across the state. The Grants Officer utilizes creative and technical writing skills, engages in extensive research, and collaborates with colleagues to develop timely, professional, compelling proposals and funding documents. Creates a cultivation strategy for each identified prospect, including clear cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans (in collaboration stewardship and grants administration colleagues). This role will include a special focus on securing corporate philanthropy and partnerships.  Assists Director in leading corporate fundraising strategy. Manages portfolio and stewardship of corporate funders and partners with Rev Executive Director to increase Rev sponsors support for IU Health Foundation. Supports grant-seeking strategy for private foundation, corporate, and government funding. Prepares reports for private foundation funders. Builds and cultivates relationships with donors of all levels, system partners, IU Health Foundation team, and Rev partners.

Bachelor's Degree is required. Master's Degree is preferred. Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience.
