The Grants Program Manager supports all areas of State Pre-K grant implementation and compliance for assigned grant programs. Provides expertise on administrative, curriculum, and training requirements specific to the state and provides informational updates on school programs to internal stakeholders. The Grants Program Manager ensures that grant programs adhere to LCG processes, grant program guidelines, and the financial/budgetary requirements of the grantor. This role will be supporting programs in the North East, specifically New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Maryland; candidate should be located in the North East.
Essential Functions:
Provide leadership and expertise to grant and field teams on implementing programs in alignment with the initiatives and requirements of both LCG and the grantor. Develop and maintain relationships with state regulatory agencies and Pre-K offices. Build and maintain partnerships with DM and school management to offer the best support for state Pre-K programs and action plans to meet highest quality in program and compliance. Collaborate with Director to set vision and goals for team and individuals. Support multiple state Pre-K programs as assigned and additional ad hoc projects as necessary such as writing of new grants and the launch of new grant programs. Provide mentoring to new and existing Specialists and works closely with other LCG departments to coordinate processes that support optimal grant program compliance. Conduct school visits as necessary to support successful program implementation and compliance. Provide off-site support via telephone or virtual meetings as needed. Work with other LCG departments and the field to budget grant spending and use funds within the program guidelines, with a focus on providing quality for children and families while ensuring financial responsibility. Perform monthly audits on staff files, teacher files, and child files as required by the grant. Develop school/state-specific plans based on classroom observations and audits to support schools in maintaining or improving program implementation, including budget and quality requirements. Provide regular, effective communication to the field, Director of Funding, and the grantor to support program implementation and improvement.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manage direct report(s), including coaching, development, and ongoing support.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; grant management, early childhood, business, or management focus preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in early childcare program management or support. Minimum 2 years of experience managing direct reports. Experience working with grantors (state offices, coalitions, counties, or another entity that provides funds and/or oversees the use of those funds) preferred. Previous proven experience facilitating state Pre-K programs either through direct implementation or providing support and guidance in implementation is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation based on position, education and experience. Bi-weekly paid. $79-90,000 annually. This position is also eligible for our Support Central bonus program which is based on annual achievement of company performance.
