Granulation Blending Operator

Our client, a pharmaceutical company in North Brunswick Township, NJ is looking for a Granulation/Blending Operator to join their team. You will be responsible for operating and setting up granulators, drying ovens, blenders, screening equipment, and other related equipment according to company standard operating procedures. Operators must be capable of operating multiple machines simultaneously and learning to operate a variety of equipment within the manufacturing area.

Job Responsibilities:

Follow batch records, SOPs, and cGMP guidelines to ensure product specifications and tolerances are met.Ensure full compliance with Company policies, procedures, GMPs, Ethical Business Practice, and SOPs at all times.Complete accurate and timely documentation, including operation logs, batch records, etc.Ensure product meets applicable quality standards through inspection, sampling, and testing.Complete labeling and inventory movements for accurate inventory control.Dismantle, clean, and maintain equipment and work areas.Train on and operate various equipment, including: Rapid Mixer Granulator (100L & 600L), Planetary mixer, Fluid bed dryer/processor, Tray Drying Ovens, Fitz mill/Multi mill, Double cone/V- blenders, Screening/sieving equipment, Maintain accurate equipment and room logbooks.Perform material handling of products and components.Accurately document all steps on batch records.Participate in investigations for deviations involving batch records.Maintain proper gowning and hygiene to ensure product integrity.Work extended hours and occasional weekend overtime.

Job Qualifications/Certifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent3+ years of Granulating/Blending Operator experienceMinimum of 1 year of experience in nutritionals, supplements, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing industriesExperience operating 5 machines (blending, milling, sifting, tray dryer, and granulation)Clear understanding of blending and granulation department functionsCertified forklift operatorAbility to independently complete batch cards, follow SOPs, and adhere to GMPs2-5 years of experience in supplements and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing

Monday to Friday11:00 PM to 7:00 AM$41.000 - $42.000
