The Graphic Design Intern will sit within the Brand & Creative team as part of the Corporate Sales & Marketing Department, which also includes Digital Marketing, Corporate Sales, Merchandising and Marketing Operations. **Position Details:** + Support Stanley Martin Corporate, and Brand & Creative team initiatives + Develop design concepts for various communications, campaigns, promotions, and events + Explore new ideas, creative directions, and tools to create content as we continue to evolve the Stanley Martin Brand + Assist with internal communications and content updates to SharePoint site + Assist with the execution of various marketing email campaigns + Assist with digital advertising updates + Review and proof collateral for brand accuracy + Support other cross-functional Sales and Marketing analytics projects **Position Standards:** + Able to prioritize each day based on existing and new work + Motivated to learn new things with a positive outlook + Demonstrates active listening, confidence, and respect when interacting verbally and through written communication + Able to clearly present ideas, concepts, and designs **Position Requirements:** + College student in a bachelor’s degree program for Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, Creative Technologies, or similar design study + A functional and practical understanding of design theory and principles + Working knowledge and ability to utilize design and business software, including, but not limited to the full Adobe Creative Suite and Office 365 + Possess a curious creativity, attention to detail, and be highly organized and process driven + Able to work efficiently under firm deadlines, both individually and within a team + Must interpret art direction and guideline documents, and freely accept feedback + Good analytical and project management skills + Able to successfully collaborate with co-workers from multiple teams + 40-hour work week for at least 8–12 weeks in May–August Martin Alloy and Stanley Halle created Stanley Martin in 1966 in the Maryland suburbs outside of Washington, D.C.
