Medpace is a contract research organization (CRO) with a mission to advance new and better medical treatments that improve lives. We are seeking a Cincinnati office-based graphic design intern for Fall 2024 who can help bring clinical studies to life through branding and creative materials.

 

As an intern, you will be an integral member of the Information Design team—a group of writers, designers, technical communicators, and other creative individuals who are passionate about improving lives. We provide creative guidance and develop compelling content, branding, documents, and trainings for a wide audience.

 

Our Intern Program

Gain job experience in a corporate environment with the potential to be hired into a full-time roleReceive one-on-one mentoring with an experienced graphic designerSharpen your design skills by working on real-world projectsChoose a part-time (20+ hours/week) or full-time (40 hours/week) schedule Responsibilities Work on brand identities and creative materials (e.g., brochures, flyers, handbooks) for clinical studies Participate in creative brainstorms and logo critiquesExperience collaboration across roles to visualize complex concepts and achieve the client’s vision Help with other design projects as needed, such as support for new business presentations, promotional materials, and digital assets for web and email

Skills/Characteristics

Desire to advance medical research and improve patients’ livesEnjoy learning and growing in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Embrace new opportunities and balance tasks as priorities changeUnderstand and apply fundamental design principles (layout, composition, typography, color) Qualifications Junior or Senior, working towards a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, digital design, or related field Intermediate knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop    Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Medpace Overview
