Y CPF Level: TB2 Location: San Antonio Dept.: Corporate Communications Business Unit: BioBridge Global **General Summary** Responsible to develop and support the brand of BioBridge Global and its subsidiaries (BBG) through various design solutions that could include: campaign designs, marketing and other collateral material, identity design, ad creation, social media, photo correction, icon design, print design, e‐blasts, newsletters and overall brand development and management. Will manage the total design process from the client needs assessment to the press check at print. Support, communicate and reinforce the mission and vision of the enterprise. Provide world class customer service by capturing and being responsive to the voice of the customer (internal or external, including donors for select positions) through multiple feedback channels in order to resolve issues and drive satisfaction in accordance with the BBG customer engagement, feedback, and complaint processes. It is essential that the incumbent have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old with a good driving record to meet organization driving standards. **Major Duties and Responsibilities** Essential Tasks Design brochures, print ads, manuals, catalogs, flyers, tradeshow materials, postcards, posters, certificates, trophies/awards, print advertising, presentations, newsletters, billboards, web graphics, multimedia graphic support, etc. Develop storyboards, creative copy and help oversee production of design. Ensure brand standard guidelines are met and consistent with requirements. Meet with senior level management, collaborate to identify project message, and translate into a high‐quality product that satisfies the request and supports the company brand and guidelines. Work with team members, business units and vendors to plan, develop, and execute projects. Learn design work for web/interactive projects using Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, or hand‐coding skills for more advanced projects. Perform work using design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, In Design, Photoshop). Prepare files for proofs, print and final outputs. Quality check all graphic design work produced in the department, and by other team members, to include color schemes, content and content layout, print quality, and brand standards. Ensure content goes through the appropriate proofing process. Manage total design process from the client needs assessment, to presentation of concept, to press check at the printer. Manage relationships with outside vendors; solicit bids for printing orders and direction for delivery or pick‐up of orders. Ensure vendor invoices are correct and provide direction on internal billing. Consult and discuss photographic shoots with photographers as required by project. Assist director with oversight of Print Shop operations to ensure that print standards are being met. Assist with training of Print Technician and provide back‐up as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Non‐Essential Tasks Assist other departments with support as needed. **Education** Requires a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma. Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. The preferred major is fine arts or graphic design. Licenses and/or CertificationsTexas Operators Driver’s License **Experience** Require full time graphic design role experience. Prefer leading projects and/or consulting/advising design work experience. **Knowledge** Must have general knowledge of Adobe Suite products. **Skills** Must have high level graphic design skills. Must have strong computer skills. Must have excellent management skills. Must be capable of operating motor vehicles in all types of weather conditions. **Abilities** Must be able to keep information confidential. Must be able to perform repetitive tasks on a continuing basis and have the ability to prioritize tasks. Must be neat in appearance and well groomed. Must be professional, detail oriented, self‐motivated, innovative, creative, assertive, organized, communicative, and have the ability to work independently. Must have the ability to demonstrate, leadership, problem‐solving skills and team‐building. **Working Environment** Works in a well‐lighted, air conditioned and heated office. May be exposed to electrical and chemical hazards and other conditions common to an office environment. May be required to work at any time of the day, evening or night during the week or weekend. Ability to use personal motor vehicle for company business required. Occupational Exposure Assignment‐Category II Physical Requirements Must be able to drive on behalf of the organization. Will sit, stand, walk, and bend during working hours. Requires to reach, lift and carry up to 50 lbs Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye‐hand coordination. Requires normal or corrected vision and hearing corrected to a normal range.
