Our Marketing team in Madrid plays a key role in supporting the company's activities and objectives through visual communication. By effectively transmitting Arup’s ideas, projects, and values, they strengthen the brand’s image, improving both internal and external communications.
The Opportunity
Gain hands-on experience in graphic design and work alongside specialists within our Marketing team in Madrid. This traineeship offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of projects, developing your skills and building your portfolio while making a real impact on how we communicate our work.
As a Graphic Designer Trainee at Arup, you will:
Produce visual materials that clearly and effectively communicate the company's projects and services. Design layouts for client presentations, technical documents, project reports, diagrams, and graphics. Create marketing materials: brochures, infographics, newsletters, internal communications, event materials, and graphic support for corporate videos or social media. Ensure all graphic elements align with the company's brand identity, following corporate style guidelines and maintaining consistency across visual documents. Collaborate with other departments to ensure all materials meet Arup's brand standards.
Does this role inspire you?
We are looking for candidates who have a strong sense of design, conceptual thinking, and visual communication. You should be able to tackle creative and communication challenges with an innovative mindset. Ideally, you’ll bring:
Studies in Graphic Design, Concept Design, or a related field. Knowledge of editorial design and corporate identity (ability to apply brand guidelines consistently across all graphic materials). Proactivity, organization, and decisiveness, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines. Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects would be an asset. Excellent written and spoken Spanish and English. A collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
Conditions
Be enrolled in the university to be able to establish an agreement with the University Immediate incorporation Duration: 6 months of extendable internship (possibility of joining after completing the internship) Schedule: From 20 to 40 hours per week to be defined with the student Remuneration: will depend on the student's level of training and the number of hours established.
