Graphic Designer
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Graphic Designer in the Communications industry, based in New York, New York. As a Graphic Designer, you will be utilizing various design software to create digital and print designs that align with the company's brand awareness efforts. Responsibilities: • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop, to create and edit designs. • Design and produce a variety of digital assets, including social media graphics, web banners, and email templates. • Create print materials such as brochures and advertisements, ensuring they align with brand guidelines. • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop design concepts for brand awareness campaigns. • Edit and refine designs based on feedback from stakeholders. • Maintain an organized digital archive of all graphic design assets. • Stay updated on latest design trends and techniques to bring fresh ideas to all design projects. • Collaborate with other designers to meet production timelines and deliverables. • Ensure all design work aligns with the overall brand and marketing strategy. • Review final designs and ensure they are error-free before print or publication. Requirements • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop is essential. • Demonstrated ability to design and create advertisements that effectively promote brand awareness. • Experience in creating brochures and other print materials. • Proven design skills with a strong portfolio of previous work. • Knowledge and experience in digital design. • Ability to work well in a team and communicate design ideas effectively. • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. • A degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is advantageous. • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles. • Strong visual design skills with the ability to transform statistical data into easy-to-understand graphics. • Understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment. • Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals. • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines. • Ability to give and receive constructive criticism. • Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design. • Experience with computer-aided design.
