Graphic Designer

Under the direction of the Supervisor, Creative Services, the Graphic Designer is responsible for the creative development of designs, layouts and templates, and other marketing materials for our overall brand, print, and digital presentations across various platforms and deliverables for San Manuel, Yaamava’ Resort & Casino, and Palms Casino Resort.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 1. Update or design and output various collateral materials and projects as assigned to meet enterprise and production deadlines.  2. Create visual concepts, designs, templates, and layouts, using Adobe CC, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers and enterprise-wide stakeholders.  3. Create, submit and upload projects and final deliverables ensuring adherence to established procedures and brand guidelines.  4. Collaborate with other areas of marketing, copywriting, digital and video, and production departments on concepts and various creative development and presentations.  5.   Collaborate on photo/video shoots on and off property, support company events on and offsite (as needed) through either hands-on assistance or project deliverables  6. Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, ensuring adherence to file management protocols.  7. Maintain and update all enterprise marketing materials, including but not limited to traditional print design, web, social, media, mobile applications, email, online advertisements, and other deliverables as needed.  8. Meet company standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards.  9. Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.  Education/Experience/Qualifications  Associate’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Fine Art or related field required.   Minimum two (2) years design experience in marketing and communications industry with one year focus on graphic work required.  Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above.  Advance knowledge of Macintosh computers and industry software including but not limited to InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications required.  Motion graphics knowledge (After Effects and 3D programs) preferred.  Certificates/Licenses/Registrations At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.  San Manuel will make reasonable accommodations in compliance with applicable law.
