KBR is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Learning & Development, Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team supporting the NAVAIR Aviation Product Lifecycle Management (AvPLM) program. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of training materials that support the advancement of aviation logistics and defense systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilizing your design expertise to create compelling, user-friendly visual content for various training modules. RESPONSIBILITIES:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for integrating graphics generated with automated tools into deliverable documents, ensuring all graphic projects are completed on time, within budget, and to user satisfaction.Graphic Development: Prepare and develop presentation graphics that support various curriculum authoring software packages related to the PLM solution. Support the development of contract deliverables, Computer-Based Training (CBT) modules, Instructor-Led Training (ILT) courses, and reports by enhancing the quality and usability of documents through effective graphic design. Demonstrated experience in developing CBT modules and instructor-led training materials using Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise), Adobe Creative Suite, and various Learning Management Systems (LMS).Integration and Coordination: Integrate graphics generated with automated tools into deliverable documents. Assist in coordinating graphic production schedules and liaise with outside vendors for production support as needed.  Execute graphic projects and ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to user satisfaction. Interface with users to determine project scope and the most effective graphic medium to use.Technical Expertise: Operate, set up, and manage computer graphic systems. Stay updated on graphics systems and application packages, including desktop publishing, GIS, HTML, multimedia, and other relevant graphics applications. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign for graphic design projects.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Citizenship & Clearance: Must be a US citizen with a DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain.

Years of Experience & Education: High School Diploma and 3+ years of experience in graphic design or a related field. Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and experience designing graphics optimized for online learning environments.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience developing and implementing educational curriculums in graphic design is a plus.Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field, and 5+ years of relevant experience.Strong proficiency in Articulate 360 (Storyline & Rise) for developing interactive training materials, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), desktop publishing software and multimedia instructional design.Excellent communication skills to effectively interface with users, stakeholders, and team members. Experience in stakeholder management and engaging diverse learner groups in both digital and in-person settings.Experience creating graphics for military training (military/CNATT training) or publications is desirable   Experience in graphic design for educational materials, including eLearning and Instructor-Led Training (ILT).Demonstrated experience in creating CBT modulesProficiency in desktop publishing software and familiarity with graphics applications relevant to military training and maintenance programs.Demonstrated understanding of accessibility standards, including Section 508 compliance for digital content.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week

Compensation: $69,540-$87,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
