Join us as a Graphic Designer, working a hybrid between your home office and our Burlington MA headquarters, and help us do what we do best: propelling business forward.   This Graphic Designer will collaborate with the Marketing team and various other teams in the company, communicating directly with stake holders and vendors. In producing high quality, inspiring artwork the Graphic Designer supports the Designers team in achieving the strategic business goals of the Corporate, Demand Generation, Product marketing teams and People Ops as well as maintains and evolves a strong Progress brand identity, while actively contributing to a culture of innovation, excellence and accountability. 

In this role, you will:

Brainstorm creative concepts with the team involved in the respective projectProduce designs based on established style guidelines from concept to deliveryDesign intelligent, original visuals that are both uniquely creative and communicate the brand message effectivelyDevelop detailed design specs for production and communicate directly with vendors to follow production throughWork on projects for corporate branding and identity conceptsEvent branding and design of boothsDesign of Whitepapers, Infographics, Case studies or other collateralsPrepare banners for campaignsContribute to the development of the creative team's culture and quality standards

Your background:

A relevant BA Degree A minimum of 3 years’ professional graphic design experience.A minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in the field of Advertising, Graphic Design and MarketingExpertise using in Adobe design software including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesignGood understanding of the psychology of visual perception and visual hierarchyAbility to explain the thought process behind visual design solutions, and rally people around stated design goalsMeticulous, pixel-perfect eye for detailStrong communication skills, positive attitude and an inspiring work ethicExceptional aesthetic sensibility and strong knowledge in design fundamentalsStrong knowledge of design fundamentals, layout, typography, information hierarchy, and print specificationsGood understanding of information flow, readability, and interface usability principlesGood understanding of the technical foundations upon which websites are builtMastery of design functionalities in Microsoft office Word, PPTAbility to work across different channels / mediums; identity, print, packaging, web and digital mediaGood illustration and data visualization skillsStrong typographic skills, understanding of type hierarchy and structureStrong skills & experience in building PowerPoint presentations 

Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have: 

Basic animation skills and video storyboarding knowledge.Good command and experience with After Effects, video editing.Understanding of the technical foundations upon which websites are built
