The Graphic Designer will create visually pleasing and cohesive graphics for print (packaging and signage) and digital, while having a firm understanding of the creative process. This position will focus on signage design, packaging layout and retail presentations. Must be a visual designer who is equally savvy at photography, illustration and communications, has the ability to take creative direction well and produce quality work. A passion for Halloween, Christmas and pop culture is a plus.
Savvy designer with the ability to translate ideas into creative visual presentation and design solutions Work closely with copywriters and the creative team to gather images and copy, and route designs on a tight schedule Stay current on industry trends – keep the brand at the forefront of design, layout, and best practices Prepare art files for release to printers as well as knowing appropriate file type for medium Create packaging solutions that could in some cases drive the look for in-store point-of-purchase, advertising and other print/digital based consumer collateral needs Work with creative and marketing teams to clarify objectives, revise creative and ensure accuracy of campaigns Work collaboratively and flexibly with other members of the Creative Team, Marketing, Product Team, other departments to achieve project goalsQualifications
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field, or relevant work experience Minimum six-years of experience with a focus on both digital and print design and layout Ability to layout, design and organize packaging mechanicals by following a style guide Experience in light photo retouching and photo clipping, with proficiency in all applicable MAC software (Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office) Highly efficient, with the ability to prioritize multiple details and tasks and meet deadlines within specified time constraints Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills, with exceptional typography and composition skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects and flexibility to change direction quickly based on business needs Ability to self-direct under ambiguous and changing circumstances Job Snapshot Employee Type Full-Time Location Egg Harbor Township, NJ (Onsite) Job Type Design Experience Not Specified Apply to this job.
