Overview JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer/Marketing Coordinator to join our team whose main purpose is to create visual branding and enhance our marketing efforts. This role combines creativity and strategic marketing, producing marketing assets in graphics and print that align with our brand. The ideal candidate must have strong production skills, proficiency in graphic design software, and digital and print knowledge. They also must possess a great attitude and enjoy working with people in an office environment and with the company’s vendors. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Graphic Design and Creative Assets: Create high-quality graphics for digital and print media, including social media posts, email campaigns, and artwork for email and online marketing. Design and optimize marketing content for various devices and platforms, including desktop, mobile, and social media ensuring a user-friendly design, and all materials align with our brand. Create, print and distribute posters, banners, billboards, sales collateral, resort guides, menus, tickets, and other printed marketing materials. Create and distribute Monthly Member Newsletter. Marketing Coordination: Ensure all upcoming events are displayed on reader boards and poster stands throughout the resort. Communicate special events and assets to various channels and third-party sites. Create email blasts and press releases for promoting resort events, offers, and packages. Support and facilitate communication with associates regarding special events and promotions, via newsletters and Keep It Current Cards. Collaborate with department managers to develop opportunities to generate traffic and revenues for their area via all marketing channels. Assist in social media marketing by creating events, images, videos, and written content, as well as reputation management on these platforms. Manage communication through our “Next Door” platform for all departments. Work closely with third-party resort contracted companies for digital marketing efforts. Attend resort events to capture images for social media throughout the year i.e. Independence Celebration, Memorial Day Festivities, etc. as well as community events involving the resort. Assist in organization and participate in organized photo/film shoots. Assist in making text and image updates to the resort website. Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences to generate interest, traffic and revenue. Become an advocate in social media spaces, engaging in conversations and answering questions where appropriate. Additional Duties: Attend scheduled training seminars and department meetings. Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of the position. Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company associates and purveyors to promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate, which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness. Maintain a professional standard at Glade Springs to include but not limited to appearance, verbal discussions, written correspondence and interactions with members, management, associates and guests. Does not discuss confidential items with fellow associates or work-related issues with members or guests. Additional responsibilities, as directed, by the Executive Offices. Minimum Job Requirements & Desired Skills Strong communication and project management skills Knowledge of graphics design software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Canva, etc. Experience with video editing software is a plus. Knowledge of social media software Must be self-motivated, energetic, adaptable, flexible and reliable Must be a team player Must possess impeccable writing skills. Must have regular and reliable attendance. Must incorporate safe work practices in job performance. QUALIFICATION STANDARDS: Education and Experience: High school diploma or higher. 2+ years of professional marketing experience Experience of managing, coordinating, analyzing, monitoring and promoting a brand or company through various marketing initiatives Physical Abilities: The physical abilities described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
