**Job Description:**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Experienced** **Facilitator** to join our team! In this role you will get to deliver world-class visualization services and meaningful customer experiences. We work with a wide array of clients to solve exciting business challenges and stretch our critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
Visioneering® was established more than seven years ago to integrate visual thinking and graphic facilitation with differentiated client service delivery. Visioneers foster collaboration and communication, spark innovation, and support the development and maturation of high performing teams. Our in-person and virtual services and capabilities include:
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Active TS/SCI, ability to obtain and maintain a CI poly
+ Bachelor's degree
+ 5 - 7 years of Graphic Facilitation
+ Facilitation – perform the discovery, design, delivery, and post-event processing of group processes. Experience performing
+ customer discovery’ to uncover organizational needs and designing experiences to achieve desired outcomes. Experience with communication platforms such as Zoom, WebEx, and Microsoft Teams.
+ Preferred - _Graphic_ Facilitation – performing the above processes while incorporating visual tools to include templates and imagery, such as the synthesizing and recording of information in a visual manner. While experience as a graphic facilitator is preferred, the team is willing to train the right candidate on the use of visuals in the facilitation process to meet team needs. We value growth and personal/professional development on the team.
+ Presence, communication, and emotional intelligence – engage clients and audiences of all levels with professionalism, confidence, and emotional intelligence every time. Demonstrate respect to all members of a group while in meetings and while facilitating. Ability to ask difficult questions while creating an inclusive environment.
+ Relationship builder – manage relationships and dynamics with clients, both Parsons internal and Parsons external clients. Provide support to the team with business development and stakeholder engagement. Market and promote Visioneering® services to customers, identifying opportunities where the team can make a difference for clients and imbue creative and visual thinking into everything we do.
+ Consulting – apply your experience with people, process, technology, and strategy concepts to your work. Embrace active listening to understand client challenges and propose a way forward and use participatory decision-making to strengthen outcomes.
+ Ability to work as part of a team and provide and accept feedback – work as integral member of the team, providing input and feedback on team processes, workshop design, and customer engagements and have the enthusiasm to co-facilitate client engagements.
+ Ability to flex your schedule as needed – While the typical workday is approximately 9am-5pm, members of the team will occasionally need to flex their schedule to be at a client site early or late to set up, run, or complete a client engagement/facilitated event. Our team works closely to ensure that each member maintains the best balance of work and personal time possible.
+ Willingness to learn about varied subject matters and operate in environments of ambiguity – our clients come from many different backgrounds, to include government and intelligence, cyber security, transportation, infrastructure and water, and more.
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Graphic Recording / Hand-Drawn Illustration – Listen, synthesize, and generate illustrations (lettering and images) in real time to reflect presentations and discussions. Create large-scale graphic recordings or smaller-scale sketch notes (paper and digital). Digitize work products as client deliverables.
+ Change Management – more of our clients are requesting change management services, to include high-level engagement with clients and stakeholders, understanding their needs through empathy and human-centered design, and developing and implementing proposals to help large organizations through the transition or transformation of their goals, processes, or technologies. Strong emotional intelligence to navigate the people side of change is desired.
+ Development of strategic visuals -- develop materials to systematically illustrate a system, process, or other complex concept. Includes storyboard, roadmaps, OV-1s, and/or action sketches.
+ Design Thinking – know and apply visually-based Design Thinking tools and techniques (e.g., LUMA Institute) to develop empathy for people, understand challenges, and design and test possible solutions. The team will train the right candidate on these tools if needed.
+ Entrepreneurial Thinking – know and apply visually-based tools and techniques to develop business canvases, stakeholder maps, empathy maps, experience diagrams, contextual testing plans, and customer journey maps. The team will train the right candidate on these tools if needed.
+ Tools of the Trade – effectively use technology solutions to deliver client services (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite [Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro], Procreate, VideoScribe). Effectively use markers, paper, flip charts, and ink in the creation of artifacts and deliverables.
+ Strategic Communication – apply your experience with Strategic Communication design, development, and delivery to your visually-based work. Align the purpose of visually-based work products to strategic goals.
+ Storyboarding – use sketches and visuals to support the development, design, and delivery of story-based communication artifacts (e.g., animated sketch videos, presentations)
+ Mentorship – interest in growing the next generation of Visioneers and visual practitioners and in providing information on creative thinking techniques to Parsons colleagues.

Salary Range:
$60.87 - $109.57
