Summary of Job Description

The position, Graphic Application Technician, is responsible for applying various graphics to emergency apparatus according to specified customer orders. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot issues with application effectively.
 

Essential Functions

Interpret work orders and prints and transfer to pattern and productCommunicate design layoutsMeasure and mark up truck with striping layoutPre-fit/pre-cut material piecesPrepare numbers and letters for application to truck (weeding/masking)Apply striping to truckApply numbers, letters, and (when requested) customer furnished emblemsDisassemble and reassemble small components of emergency apparatus as neededPrioritize the work based upon scheduleTroubleshoot issues that may delay applicationMaintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsDemonstrate effective interpersonal communication skillsRegular attendance requiredAll other duties and responsibilities that are assigned
 

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent educationAt least one year of related experience and/or training

Preferred Qualifications to complete Essential Functions

Ability to use tape measure.Ability to use various small and pneumatic hand tools.Ability to use various software such as World, Corel Draw, Composer, Excel, and Word

Work Environment

Working conditions will be inside and outside where temperatures will vary from extreme heat to extreme cold for extended periods of time. This position is regularly exposed to vibration and loud noises.
