Job Description

As a Graphics Designer in P&G's Fabric Care Content Design Studio, you will work across print and digital mediums to bring memorable and iconic product communication to life. You will design impactful brand assets, online digital activations, concept visualizations, 2D package design, and in-store promotional materials, to support design prototypes for consumer research. As a hands-on creative, you will need expertise in the relevant design software to deliver excellent graphic design for conceptual exploration and learning tools. You will be responsible for participating in the creative design processes to help teams generate concepts for superior packaging and communication. You will collaborate with other like-minded creatives and multidisciplinary teams to support the business's needs. You will stay up to speed with new applications and technologies, incorporating AI visualizations into design exploration. You’ll view business challenges through an empathetic, consumer-centric len to connect with the hearts & minds of Fabric Care North American consumers. 

What You'll Do:

Design and develop visual assets to support strategic design intuitive for conception design visualizations, 2D package design, and communication.Create design theme boards that express various design directions and inspirations.Ensure brand guidelines and directives are embraced consistently across all design.Exhibit strong creative leadership and excellent communication skills in pitching conceptual and directional choices for design concepts and 2D packaging directionsAssist with occasional digital projects such as graphics for digital commerce  and social media including light motion graphics.Be accountable for the superior quality of creative execution.

Key Capabilities:

Visual Graphic Design: Hands on creation of key iconic graphic visuals. Design and edit graphic assets, focusing on high-quality visuals that meet brand guidelines.Technical Design Skills: Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and design principles.Conceptual Skills: Ability to bring abstract concepts to life through visualize theme board formats. Brand Stewardship: Ability to differentiate between multiple brand identity systems and collaborate closely with marketing and brand teams to ensure all assets consistently reflect a cohesive visual style that aligns with each brand identity. Creative Collaborator: Be a strategic design collaboration partner and multi-disciplinary team member. Photography:  Participate in internal photoshoots for brands and content creation, light photo editing and postproduction capabilities. Agility & Time Management: Ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Developmental Skills: 

Light Motion Graphics: Ability to learn and grow to create visual assets which an become compelling animations.AI Integration: Ability to learn about and utilize AI tools for rapid prototyping and design iterations, enhancing creativity and speed as technologies grow and change.Continual Learning & Trend Awareness: Stay updated on design trends, emerging AI tools, and innovative consumer trends in packaging design trends.

BA/BS in Graphic Design or a similar field.Experience as a Graphic DesignerA strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in graphic design and brand expression. Your portfolio will be assessed on creative excellence, visual storytelling, problem-solving and technical mastery.Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to problem solve and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Comfortable giving and receiving feedback.Adaptability and comfort in a dynamic environment, with a growth mindset and a commitment to continuous learning.Strong time and project management skills, with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.Proficiency in design software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and working knowledge Figma, and video editing tools.

Starting Pay / Salary Range:  $85,000 to $115,000

Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience. At P&G compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
