Shift times and overtime hours vary dependent on position, department, and location1st shift: Monday - Thursday, four 10 hour days, overtime worked at the end of shift and on Fridays and occasional SaturdaysSummary of Job Description
The positions within Graphics I are responsible for applying graphic applications to the trucks to include, but not limited to stripping, lettering, emblems and customer requested graphics. The employee must be able to read and understand prints and collect the proper materials needed to start the application process. The employees use measurement and leveling tools. They must maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Essential Functions
Communicate verbally with co-workers to keep a safe working environmentFollow written and verbal instructions to complete tasksCuts out, outlines and prepares materials, graphics or pieces for application.Sets up, operates, and maintains various forms of graphics equipment and tools, such as printing and measurement.Measure and tape up truck for applicationsApply measurement for proper alignment and attachment graphic applications.Read and interpret blue printsCheck and review check lists, work orders, and schedulesMonitors the inventory of equipment, parts, materials, and related items and notifies appropriate personnel of completes paperwork as requiredSweep and clean shop areaWork required hours and have an excellent attendance recordWork overtime as neededMaintain a clean and safe working environmentBasic Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent educationPrevious experience with application of graphicsPreferred Qualifications to complete Essential Functions
Graphics or artistic training is preferredPrevious experience as a Pierce team member or contractorKey Abilities Needed to Complete Essential Functions
