Prime Video is seeking a Graphics Production Artist for our growing Global Live Sports Production team. This role will work with the Sr. Creative Services Manager to support the graphics needs of our various sports packages and studio shows. This role requires a collaborative spirit, ownership, attention to details, flexibility, technical skills, design sense and the ability to deliver results under tight deadlines.
This role will be a driving force behind the execution and support of on-air graphics for all Live Sports Productions, including workflows between internal and external partners. The Graphics Production Artist will focus on servicing the graphic needs of our entire portfolio and upcoming studio shows.
A successful candidate will have experience with workflows related to all facets of on air/live sports graphics design and will work alongside production, production operations and the technical operations teams, often with little oversight. You will need to be a quick learner – able to understand and follow stakeholder workflows and timelines.
You will find yourself in scenarios where you are working as part of a team and where you act on behalf of our team. The ability to balance competing priorities and deadlines will be critical to the success of this position.
The desire and ability to learn and be curious, staying on the leading edge of graphic design trends and technology specific to that field will be of the utmost importance. You will need to thrive in a startup environment, and working on projects that may be foreign to some of your industry peers. Overall sports knowledge and understanding of each properties graphics needs and nuances will also be crucial to success.
Key job responsibilities
• Providing graphics production support for 2D, 3D and motion graphics needs (Prepping 2D artwork, rendering versions of animations, designing set graphics, topic bugs…)
• Ensuring that Prime Video’s visual identity remains consistent across all platforms, including on-air graphics, on set, and promotional materials
• Technical skills using required software with an eye for design and composition
• Ability to coordinate and track high volume of work through an end-to-end workflow
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, can clearly articulate and document technical processes and workflows
• Adaptability and resilience to quick changes in priorities, tools, workflow and technology
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office products
• Ability to create both broadcast motion graphics, digital assets and print materials
