Graphics Technician / Print Production
Description Customer is looking for a Print Production Technician to assist with all asset printing. This includes large signs, displays, merchandise, etc. Produce high-quality graphics and tailoring products to specifications, time, and budget. Perform appropriate measurements and calculations, make accurate prints, cuts, and tailoring to ensure desired results, smooth workflow, and satisfied customers. -Ensure that the workspace is clean and organized, with all parts, components, tools, and machinery accounted for, organized, and well maintained. Perform regular housekeeping between projects. -Ensure art proof matches print-ready files. Verify quantities and critical alignment (notated in art proof). Load into rip to verify size. Determine adjustments/finishing requirements. -Gain a full understanding of the project before beginning execution. Communicate effectively with other departments and ensure all questions have been answered. -Transfer print from transfer paper to fabric cleanly and accurately - Print is cleanly and accurately transferred to fabric in the correct size and proportions, with no waste, creases, bubbles, pulls, or distortions. -Apply vinyl to various substrates or structures cleanly and accurately - Vinyl is applied cleanly and accurately, to specifications, time estimates, and budget. Application results in no waste, creases, bubbles, pulls, or distortions. -Measure structures and fabrics and calculate required cuts- Accurate measurement and calculations that result in accurate cuts that produce no waste and require no reworks. -Make accurate cuts of materials to be tailored. -Produce accurate and high-quality sewn products. -Assemble final product and verify specification match and quality check. -Assemble in-stands that function properly and result in no issues with graphics fitting or hardware. Conduct quality control checks on final products. -Cleanly apply laminate to specifications with no errors -Break down graphic builds, such as portables and banner stands, and pack properly and efficiently. -Assemble and disassemble standard kitted products, from banner stands, to standard kitted products, up to 10x10 and above with an understanding of safety implications and show regulations. -Be willing to assist manufacturing with builds larger than the portable modular programs. Additional Skills & Qualifications This role will not be on the creative side. Will be strictly printing the materials.
