Gravure Technician
**Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing facility in Walpole, NH who is looking to hire a Gravure Tech.** **Pay Rate** : + 1st Shift: $17.00 per hour **Schedule:** + 1st Shift: 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday – Friday, OT may be required when needed. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities:** + Load and unload unwind end of press with film for print runs and leader as needed. + Watch the unwind or rewind ends for problems and assist on transfers during print runs. + Assist operator as directed (examples: cylinder retrieval, washing rubber rolls, guide rolls, web breaks). + Assist with cylinder change outs. + Unit wash-up. Clean print cylinders and ink pans after a print run. A quality wash-up takes approximately 10 minutes. + Assist in maintaining cleanliness of print line area (examples: scrap vinyl, dumpster area, worktable, etc.). + Observe paperwork procedures and be able to write up a print production roll accurately. + Be able to perform “Ink Stager” duties. + Check with Operator for next production run Sku#. + Go to the area where inks are stored, select proper inks and set in area selected for next production run inks by press. + At end of run, weigh inks, attach new drawdowns provided by colormatcher with weight, write weight on tape that new drawdown is attached to. + Return inks to designated area in pre-match. + All duties are to be performed in a safe and prudent manner. + Continue to learn and ask questions with your supervisor, operator and team co-worker. **Required knowledge, skills and abilities:** + Ability to visually discern print problems on a moving web. + Reading and writing skills + High School diploma or GED + Ability to grip, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs. + Ability to use hand tools: wrench, wiper, utility knife. + Work standing on your feet two to three hours between breaks. + Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. **Qualifications:** Six to twelve months’ previous manufacturing experience in an environment where attention to detail, quality, and teamwork were of importance.
