Job Title: GRC Architect (Hybrid)
Roles & Responsibilities:Architect and Design:
Architect and craft comprehensive privacy solutions using OneTrust technologies, including integrations and supporting infrastructure and services. Create detailed architectural documentation and diagrams to ensure the product design is clear and adheres to enterprise standards. Develop and maintain reference architecture diagrams, and developer and user handbooks. OneTrust Implementation and Management: Implement and manage OneTrust Cookie Compliance, Incident Response, and Identity Proofing. Perform Privacy by Design Assessments and develop roadmaps and technical plans for Privacy by Design Controls implementation, including Application Technical Controls, Information Management Controls, and Infrastructure Controls. Build and manage OneTrust inventories for both personal data and controls. Be responsible for OneTrust Privacy Notice Management, Data Privacy Scanning (Data Discovery), and Privacy Inventory Reporting. Automate Personal Data Inventory and develop privacy processes, reporting, and dashboards using OneTrust. Conduct Privacy Assessments using OneTrust. Ensure compliance with Privacy Threshold Assessment (PTA) requirements using OneTrust. Lead Vendor Risk using OneTrust Vendor Risk Management module. Implement Data Retention Management and Consent Management using OneTrust. Technology Solutions: Plan, coordinate, and complete technology solutions, including infrastructure, servers, interfaces, cloud, and network activities related to data privacy. Cloud and DevOps Integration: Leverage Azure cloud platforms and implement DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization, infrastructure as code) to enhance deployment and operations. Apply Azure technologies like Azure Data Factory (ADF), Data Bricks, and other relevant Microsoft technologies to support privacy initiatives. API Integration and Development: Design, develop, and integrate APIs to support privacy solutions. Ensure secure and efficient API integration with OneTrust and other relevant systems. Use API management tools like Azure API Management to achieve efficient API lifecycle management. Production Support: Manage and maintain privacy documentation and artifacts in Azure DevOps and MS Teams. Provide production support, monitoring, and maintenance to privacy services. Monitor, triage, resolve, and close privacy issues, and update ServiceNow tickets. Lead weekly health checks of privacy services in all environments, prioritizing production. Provide application teams with architecture and infrastructure direction and guidance on technology platforms, including OneTrust usage and integrations. Fix and resolve technology and infrastructure issues in a timely manner. Collaboration involving multiple functions: Collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams, including developers, QA, project managers, and collaborators, to ensure cohesive implementation and integration of privacy solutions. Facilitate communication and collaboration between different teams to align on privacy requirements, technical solutions, and project timelines. Provide technical guidance and support to various teams to ensure successful deployment and maintenance of privacy technologies. Agile Methodologies: Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies to facilitate iterative development, continuous feedback, and rapid delivery of project assignments. Reporting: Expand the privacy framework to include new reporting and privacy capabilities. Develop a robust and stable privacy reporting framework and solution that meets operational needs. Integrate OneTrust with Power BI to enable comprehensive data reporting and visualization. Provide weekly status reports and timely work updates. Required Qualifications:Privacy and Compliance Expertise:
Hands on experience with privacy and data protection technologies. Extensive experience with OneTrust technologies, including core privacy modules and OneTrust Developer Portal. Proficiency in configuring and customizing OneTrust modules to meet organizational requirements. Hands-on experience with the development of data mapping and inventory management. In-depth knowledge of data privacy frameworks and regulations. Experience with Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) database queries and reports. Solution Architecture: Expertise in designing end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements and align with enterprise architecture standards. Ability to create high-level and detailed architecture diagrams, including system, data, and process flows. Proficiency in using architecture modeling tools such as iGrafx, Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or similar. Good understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar. Experience in developing and maintaining enterprise architecture artifacts, including principles, standards, and guidelines. Ability to align IT strategy with business goals and objectives. Azure Technologies: Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services. Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Data Bricks, and other relevant Microsoft technologies. Expertise in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures. Knowledge of Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Azure Policy. Database Experience: Expertise in SQL Server, including database design, development, and optimization. Proficiency in database migration, backup, and recovery strategies. Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes. API Integration and Development: Good experience in crafting, developing, and consuming RESTful and SOAP APIs. Experience in integrating OneTrust with other systems and applications using OneTrust APIs. Proficiency in API management tools such as Azure API Management. Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth and JWT. Experience with API documentation tools like Swagger/Open API. Power BI: Good experience in crafting and developing Power BI reports and dashboards. Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query. Ability to integrate Power BI with various data sources, including SQL databases, Excel, and cloud services. Understanding of Power BI administration and security standard processes. General Technical Skills: Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .Net, JavaScript, Python, or similar. Hands-on experience with technologies such as Informatica, Oracle, ADLS, PL/SQL, Dremio, Dynamics CRM, and Excel. Experience with version control systems like Git. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to fix complex technical issues. Soft Skills: Good communication and collaboration skills. Skill in facilitating technical discussions and presenting solutions to collaborators. Excellent project management skills and the capability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Demonstrable ability to mentor and guide junior team members. Experience leading large and sophisticated development teams. Outstanding leadership, teamwork, communication, strong analytical, oral, and written communication, documentation, problem-solving, and presentation skills. Additional Requirements:Professional Experience:
8+ years of hands-on experience with privacy technology architecture, design, and development. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field. Certifications:Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), and Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) are highly desirable.
Salary and Other Compensation:Applications will be accepted until January 05, 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $114,500 - $134,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
