Job Description
The Green Bean Associate is responsible for placing fresh beans into silos in preparation for roasting. They will spend approximately 80% of their time opening bags and loading coffee into silos. The remaining time will be used for operating a forklift to manage inventory and maintaining cleanliness in the area. The coffee bags, weighing between 130 lbs and 150 lbs, are managed with finesse rather than force. This role is crucial as it is the first step in the roasting process, ensuring everything is done correctly. Availability to work from Sunday to Friday is required, with efforts to rotate Sundays.

Work Environment
Candidates will be working in the back of the facility, surrounded by loud machines and the smell of coffee. It is important for candidates to be self-starters who work well without supervision. Interaction with coffee roasters and the Roasting Process Managers is a key part of the role.
