BrightFarms' fresh lettuce options, from classic greens to crunchy mixes and salad kits, are available in more than 3,700 retail stores across the East Coast and Midwest. 

The Greenhouse Coordinator position is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks that help support Managers and employees and contribute to the efficient operations of the Greenhouse.

Specifically, you will:

Assist and manage daily office needsMaintain long-term storage and protection of recordsGreet people entering and ensure proper check inFiling paperwork onto ADP and in paper filesInventory control and ordering suppliesTracking expensesSupport Associates and WorkforceOpen requisitions for new positions and assist in recruiting functionManage and prepare new employee paperworkOrganize training and celebration events for staffCommunicate benefits informationManage ADP Workforce Now HRIS for accuracySupport compliance efforts in safety, food safety, and HRMaintain logs and communicate any issuesAssist ILG and EHS in Workmans compensation and Injured employee return to work programEnsure that site leadership, employee supervisors or leads and injured employee complete Injury report form and Supervisors Investigation reportCreate and Manage site specific slack human safety channel "GA Injuries"Maintain onsite, all paper work related to injured employees and also medical records of employees including vaccinations and other records related to work onlyFill and report out (email) insurance claim form for injuries requiring medical care. (EHS will assist in this and all other responsibilities)

Required Qualifications

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPointStrong organizational skills including filing and time managementTwo years’ experience in office skills

  Preferred Qualifications                                

Associates Degree in Business or Agriculture related capacityHuman Resources education / experience; SHRM certification ideal

Working conditions / Environment / Travel / Schedule required

This position is forty hours a week with occasional overtime80% of job duties are in an office environment, 20% is in the greenhouse and head houseSome Saturday hours required
