Greenskeeper

Cornerstone Club sits atop the Uncompahgre Plateau 18 miles southwest of Montrose, Colorado.  As an award winning 4800-acre development, the development encompasses a private member’s only club which includes a restaurant, an equestrian center, a shooting club, a Greg Norman Designed Golf Course, and more.  In addition, Cornerstone Club has an extensive nature preserve, and walking/hiking/biking trails all which pay homage to the region’s rich heritage.

The Greenskeeper will provide outstanding golf course conditions on a daily basis. Responsible for maintaining all areas of the golf course and maintenance facility. Additional duties include:

QUALIFICATIONS

3 months of Groundskeeping experience requiredStrong interpersonal skills; team oriented.Previous experience on golf course is requiredAbility to comprehend instructions given in English or SpanishGeneral knowledge of golf game and the course preferred. Ability to work 7 days a week, weekends and holidays.Perform job responsibilities and operate equipment according to the company safety and training programs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

Most tasks are performed outdoors in variable weather conditions, including hot, cold, windy and wet weather. Temperature can be extreme but is usually moderate. Frequently works near moving/mechanical parts. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to reach with arms and hands; bend and stoop; remain at post standing for extended periods of time; required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
