The Service Greeter intercepts and routes incoming calls, takes thorough messages, and provides basic information to callers. They are the dealership’s front-line contact with the public and must represent the dealership in a professional, friendly manner at all times.

Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours per week) Saturday availability required

Starting Pay: $18.00- $19.00 an hour DOE

Responsibilities

Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the answering time and the time they are put on hold.Take thorough messages, including the caller’s first and last name, company name if applicable, time, and the message.Communicate messages to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.Provide very basic information to callers who have general inquiries.Serve as service center greeter (i.e. when customer is not met by a Service Advisor and direct to appropriate persons as necessary.)Maintain Phone log daily.Maintain customer name file daily.File repair orders daily.Special tasks/projects as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Current and valid driver's license is required.Strong attention to detailSense of urgencyExcellent communicationPrevious experience as a Greeter or in a related position is a plus.Must speak clearly on the telephone and convey an image of professionalism and competence to callers. Must be able to convey messages to employees clearly and quickly. Professional personal appearance.Basic computer skills a must.
