Summary:
Reporting to the Group Sales Manager- Front End/Receiving, the Greeter is responsible for providing superior customer service through greeting and acknowledging all customers in a friendly and professional manner and providing information on in store promotions.
Responsibilities:
Greet and engage customers in a friendly and enthusiastic mannerAct as a brand ambassador for Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s to all customers entering the store;Greet customers enthusiastically and courteously as they enter the store and inform them of in store promotions and events;Distribute flyers and promotional materials to customers entering the store;Direct customers to the appropriate department(s);Walk the main aisles of the store to greet customers;Ensure any firearms being brought into the store are properly checked by an Outfitter with a valid P.A.L and arrange for customer to be escorted to the Gun department;Merchandise and maintain visual presentation of products and displays in the front area;Maintain cleanliness of the store entrance area;Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.Qualifications:
Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer’s expectationsKnowledge of general retail practices and procedures;Excellent communication and customer service skills;Ability to stand for prolonged periods;Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyleKnowledge of Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s specific products is an asset
