Job Description

 

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking Host/Greeter for the beautiful new Barton Creek Resort & Spa!

Work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast paced, guest-centric environment to provide an Exceptionally Distinctive Guest Experience.  This position will ensure all guests are greeted and seated in a friendly and courteous manner.

Free parkingClosed for lunchClosed on Sunday Responsibilities Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer serviceSeat guests by finding a clean, available table, pulling out chairs, and placing clean menu in front of guestAnswer phone and record reservations for large partiesControl high volume outside of restaurantMonitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety and well being of guestsAssist servers when neededThank every guest upon departure, invite them to return, and wish them a fond farewell Qualifications Must have strong verbal and written communication skillsPrior host experience preferredMust be able to multi taskMust be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shiftMust be able to stand for 5-8 hour shiftsMust be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10lbs without assistanceMust be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
