Cornerstone Credit Union
Position Purpose
Serves as a representative of Cornerstone Credit Union to assist our members with their financial needs. Responsible for a positive image as a representative for the credit union in greeting our members, visitors and guests. Maintain a thorough knowledge of Credit Union philosophies as well as Cornerstone policies.
Essential Functions:
Primary
1. Greet and sign in visitors.
2. Schedule appointments.
3. Responsible for the upkeep and professional look of the lobby.
4. Control the flow of member traffic to available Financial Service Representatives.
5. Ability to handle problem resolutions using independent judgment when warranted to ensure member satisfaction, and to know when to transfer the member to an appropriate CCU employee for resolution.
6. Understand and follow CCU policies and standard procedures. Assist with the coordination and update of marketing materials in facilities, hanging posters, give aways, etc.
7. Encode and re-pin Debit card.
8. Assist member’s accessing their Safe Deposit Boxes.
9. Sort & distribute mail.
10. Assist members on using the RTS (Remote Teller Service) units.
11. Respond to inquiries made by members in person in a timely, friendly and professional manner.
11. Prepare UPS shipping labels and run end of day procedure.
Secondary
1. Complete basic file maintenance items on members’ accounts as necessary.
2. Redeem savings bonds.
3. Send Wires and Western Unions and update logs.
4. Utilize closed certificate report to remove member certificates from active file and prepare for retention.
5. Perform routine member transactions including, but not limited to; account inquiries, transfers, check withdrawals, stop payments, request for check, temporary checks, verification of deposits, statement copies, check orders and general information.

Job Specifications:
+ A minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service or similar role.
+ HS Diploma or equivalent required.
+ Friendly and positive attitude with eagerness to assist all members.
+ Ability to stay calm and professional under stress.
+ Knowledgeable about the credit union with the ability to answer basic questions.
+ Ability to cross sell products and services.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities.
+ Requires well-developed interpersonal skills for communicating information.
+ Possess strong team skills and PC, Microsoft Office proficiency.
+ Attention to details.
+ MUST have good attendance
Pay rate: $16.16/hr - $20.20/hr
