**Grill Cook** **Job Description** This kitchen is set in a large corporate office servicing employees. Provide high-quality food service at the grill station, adhering to federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations. **Responsibilities** + Take orders from customers and prepare items that require short preparation times. + Complete orders from steam tables and serve customers at multiple stations. + Serve customers efficiently and in a friendly manner, following established steps of service and meeting outlined standards. + Ensure food is at the correct temperature, attractive, and tasty by tasting all prepared food items. + Use established ticket-collection procedures during service and maintain records from the area worked during service periods. + Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control. + Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with established safety standards. + Store foods in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures. + Clean, sanitize, and maintain all assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils to meet sanitation standards. + Resolve customer concerns and report relevant information and concerns to the supervisor. + Attend in-service and safety meetings. + Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers. + Perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. **Essential Skills** + Hospitality + Line cook experience + Food preparation + Cleaning + Food production **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3-5 years of experience preferred **Why Work Here?** Be part of a dynamic and friendly team where your contributions are valued.
