Job details A well established company is actively seeking an experience grind shop operator to join their second shift team!

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operation of automatic or semi-automatic specifically centerless grinders, surface grinders, lathes, and lappers as required.
- Complete data collection at stations used in the production to verify produced parts are within the specifications. ... - Feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, and pulling finished product from the line.
- Works directly from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks.
- Checks and inspects operation against predetermined tolerances.
- Monitoring and performing first level maintenance of shop equipment and machinery.
- Setting up manufacturing equipment to specifications on router or on drawing.
- Performing data collection using micrometers and other measurement tools as specified in processes.

Working hours: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

- High School diploma or equivalent employment experience
- Must have experience setting up & operating centerless grinders, surface grinders, lathes, and lappers. (non-negotiable)

- Experience with reading drawings to interpret proper machine set up
- Experience with performing routine first level inspections of manufacturing equipment
- Experience with performing data collection as specified in process, making adjustments as
needed
- Basic computer skills are required
