In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Visually inspect casting for defects prior to grinding Produce a finish on the casting that removes all cosmetic defects Responsible for bringing the casting defects to the supervisors’ attention, so corrections may be made Main objective is to ensure product quality before it enters machining area Maintain machinery, patterns, hand tools, and other equipment in good condition Perform job function wearing proper PPE as designated by the company Able to safely and correctly operate hand and power tools and machinery, including forklifts, semi-automated material handling equipment, and overhead cranes Participate in training and continuing education as required Work overtime as required

For This Role, You Will Need:
High School Diploma or GED. Able to lift parts weighing in excess of 50 pounds (assistance when needed) and to work in a bending, standing, or squatting positions for long periods of time (excess of one hour) Effective communication skills: verbal and written (English) Follow written and/or oral instructions in EnglishPreferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
