Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons + Operate grinding machines while maintaining blueprint specifications + With assistance from the Team Lead or Supervisor, verify tolerances by performing inspection + Report any variances to the supervisor + Bring completed orders to shipping + Maintain a clean work environment + Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations + Use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and instructed **Physical Requirements** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following: + Lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance + Able to stand for long periods of time **Work Environment** + Majority of the work time is spent in a manufacturing environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to high + PPE required as determined by company safety standards: safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, safety shoes **Qualifications** **Qualifications and Experience** + High School diploma or equivalent preferred + Minimum 1 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment + Enthusiastic to learn the trade of precision grinding + Comfort level working around machinery in a fast-paced environment + Basic knowledge of measurement tools including micrometers (digital or dial), roundness gauge, comparator, cylindricity gauge + Ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English + Computer skills, intermediate knowledge Microsoft Office + Ability to read blueprints + Must be able to meet quality and entry level productivity standards + Strong attention to detail + Ability to work as part of a team **Additional Information** Health and Safety are fundamental values within the company.
